Every Saas hero has an origin story. It is definitely inspirational. All these stories is a testament that this is a Land of opportunity. Thank you for sharing their stories!!!
Exciting even if you’re not in the Saas industry, as they talk about principles that can be applied to any business and even life overall.
This is an exciting new SaaS podcast! Loved both guests so far. The interviewer really digs into the big picture problems and the hard work behind the lucky stories.
The conversations are simply amazing in terms of advice and things to reflect on when it comes to what it takes to run a tech (SaaS) business. I especially enjoy Phil’s insightful comments and questions, making it easy for guests to share business and life insights so naturally.
SaaS origin stories allows you to be a fly on the wall and listen in on two successful founders talking about their learnings and what led to their success. I love the insights they share such as the quote from Weiss: “true wealth is discretionary time”. The transparency shared between Phil and his guests is refreshing! I’ve been taking notes like crazy.
I just finished listening to the interview with Rand Fishkin. I’ve heard him on other podcasts and I’ve been a fan of Rand’s for years. There were a lot of nuggets he dropped in the interview but just one of them showed me that a decision I was about to make would have cost me tons of money and taken potentially a year before I would have finally accepted that it was a bad idea from the beginning. So grateful I found this podcast. You always see these success stories and wonder why they made it when you haven’t yet. But the truth isn’t that simple. Hearing their stories really shows you the twists and turns the founders took and what they learned that kept both them as well as their business going when everything seemed like it was going to crash and burn.
